Vote For Your Favorite Spring Trend!

By Sarah Conley · January 26, 2010 · 11 Comments · 686 Views

Even though the wind may still be blowing outside, carrying with it an unavoidable, crisp edge, Spring is just around the corner! Soon enough, you'll be craving blooming flowers, pedicures and sunglasses. When it comes time to hang up our bulky jackets to make way for capris and feminine details, we want to know what trend you'll be wearing.  Will you choose the soft touches of Victorian Romance or the far-and-away expedition feel of Safari Chic? Perhaps you'll want to relax in comfortable Casual Cotton Knots or Relaxed Chambray? For a classic Spring look, you can't go wrong with Maxi Dresses or Bohemian Layers.

What style will you be reaching for the most?

Please reconsider your decision to remove the chino slacks and shorts from your inventory. Those of us that work in an office wore them on casual day, I am so disappointed. I used to buy 6 pairs of the black at a time
I also bought the navy, khaki and the denims

Your new classic stretch jeans are terrible. The fabric looks and feels cheap, the stretch content is 3% instead of 4% making them have less give and therefore being less comfortable and there is no room in the seat. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that keeping better quality and paying a higher price is much preferred over sacrificing quality. This product is worse than that of your last supplier and that one was worse than the one that preceded it. I have been buying these jeans for at least 5 or 6 years and am now forced to try to find another source. Maybe the choice for cheap isn't the wisest you could make. Please bring the old ones back.

Your clothing is plus-size, yet the models are tall and slender. Why not use plus-sized models?
There are plenty of beautiful plus sized models out there. I wouldn't buy from this company for that one reason alone.

I agree with the model concept and in addition to this comment would like to see older women modeling also.

I agree about the models, how are we suppose to have some idea what it would look on us. I have gone from sizes 7 to 22 so I know how hard it is to tell. Some of us have big tops and others have big bottoms and again some of us have both. Some have big arms and legs and some of us don't.

I've asked Silhouettes to consider using plus size models for years. After a few bad experiences ordering from them, I won't order again until they use models who actually fit into their clothes. Many, many other plus size retailers use plus size models -- please get real, Silhouette, and show us what your clothing looks like on the women it's made for!

My favourite stores are igigi and peggy lutz, both because they use wonderful plus size models and their clothing looks great on them!

When we are in this type size of wardrobe, one would think to add a few little inches to the length of the sleeves.
However, all is done for the tall skinnys.. but we shall wait..
Now those good T-shirts they used to have were a true wonder for me.. Good Material and good length, bring them back pleae..

Next time I order, if I order, I will use express shipping if available. I have ordered from two other companies and ebay, since placing my order and am still waiting on my order from you. Please become more efficient when it comes to shipping and delivery.
