I remember the first season I received a compliment from a complete stranger inside the tents at Bryant Park during New York Fashion Week. I'd spent a lot of time prepping for the events of the week. Every detail was meticulously thought out including accessories, hair and makeup. The compliment I received instantly validated all my hard work, preparation and determination - I was recognized by someone within fashion's orbit for having great style.
The number of sartorial "streetstyle" blogs are growing rapidly - only fueled by the recent success of such bloggers proudly displayed front row at Dolce & Gabbana's recent show in Milan.
