Summer may still be sizzling but we must not forget that Autumn is right around the corner. While most of us probably start sweating just thinking about cashmere and layering, there are a lot of great ways to slowly introduce the upcoming trends into your late summer wardrobe!

Color - Rich hues, popping neons and playful color blocking still reign supreme in the upcoming seasons. While a bright courderoy pant may be perfect for a day of watching the leaves change color you probably want to avoid passing out from heat exhaustion. So instead, try throwing on a pair of colorful shorts and pairing it with a bold piece of colorful jewelry. Corals, oranges, and turquoises will all translate well from this season into the next.

Animal Prints - They’re baaaaack. Or did they ever leave? What was once considered too Fran Fine for any sophisticated woman to wear, Animal Prints have made a triumphant and elegant return to the scene. And in a very daring move, many are laying print upon print. If you’re going to give this one a go, perhaps try to keep your prints in the same color family. Otherwise you run the risk of looking too Tarzan for your own good.

Make a Statement! - Big, chunky, attention grabbing jewelry is the way to go in the next few months. But beware ladies, jewels upon jewels might have you bordering on Zsa Zsa territory, and unless you’re going for the Most Fabulous at Green Acres title, I suggest rocking one piece at a time. These gems deserve a bit of the spotlight, so try pairing them with a simple t-shirt, or with a lightweight blazer.
