This status print blouse comes in five fabulous designs. Simply pull it over your head and go. (Then watch heads turn!)

Another great status print blouse with a very trendy chain design. The cool v-neck style and loose-flowing fabric make this another really flattering piece for all kinds of weather.

2011 is here! And that means new clothes! (Or it can, if you’re into that sort of thing. Which I am.)
Anyway, check out some of the cool new finds for plus-size women:

This ¾ sleeve tunic is pretty much perfect to wear anywhere. You can wear it with jeans on the weekend, nice pants to work, or leggings or skinny jeans when you go out. It’s feminine, stylish and incredibly versatile.

A simple t-shirt, but with a cool ribbon embellishment that makes it more fun than a plain t-shirt would be. This shirt works really well with a cardigan thrown over it for warmth on cooler days.

Another very versatile piece is this embellished kurta with pretty bead accents. It’s insanely comfortable to wear pretty much every day, and works best with pants that are a little more fitted.

Do you have a New Year’s party to attend? And the bigger question: do you have something to wear?

New Year’s Eve is a fun time to get glitzy and let your hair down. Something like this Sparkle top is a great idea—lots of colors, pair with black pants and you’re ready to go.

Another idea is something like this deep-v tunic, which you can accessorize with a fabulous necklace and pair with stand-out shoes, like these leopard print heels.

And this abstract print red and black tunic would be another great option, since it has the sparkling embellishments around the neckline to add that extra touch of pizzazz. Some black boots and a fun bag and you’re on your way!
So you’ve got holiday parties to go to, and even though you don’t want to get crazy at work events, there are definitely parties where it’s fun to get a little dressed up and drink some spiked punch, right?
Here are some of the holiday pieces designed for those times when you want to make a splash.

Get glittery in this sequined tunic top that sparkles in the light. Or, try this sequined vest over a fitted long-sleeved black shirt. Another shiny option: the gold cowl-neck satin tunic.

And this beaded shoulder tunic is fun and flirty. Wear it over a black cami and black leggings or slim-fit pants.

Show off your wild side with leopard-print dress shoes or studded tassel micro-suede boots. And add some real “pop!” with jewelry like this bib necklace set, a hammered-style bangle bracelet or an exciting bold ring.

Remember… the holidays are coming fast, so make sure your wardrobe is prepared!
One fun trend that I’ve seen around lately is the “boyfriend” style clothes. Boyfriend clothes are the looser-fitting, comfortable pieces—like stuff you might swipe from your man when he leaves them lying around
Boyfriend-style pieces are nice for relaxing weekends, but they can be appropriate for work settings too, as long as they’re not too casual.

The boyfriend v-neck tunic is one of these adaptable pieces. It’s light cotton, so perfect even for days that are a little warm, especially if you’re spending time in air conditioning. It’s got a v-neck so you can layer it over a tank or cami. The khaki color works well with jeans, but you could also pair the other colors with khaki pants.

The boyfriend roll sleeve cardigan is another comfortable piece that’s good for layering. It’s long, with pockets to keep your hands warm or to hold your valuables. Throw it over a t-shirt or a tank top when you get chilly…it’s like a jacket, but a bit lighter and more casual.

Another boyfriend piece that’s perfect with jeans is this seersucker boyfriend jacket. It’s inspired by guys' clothing, but it’s cut and tailored for women. The light fabric makes this a wonderful summer jacket, and you can roll up the sleeves for contrast and a relaxed look.
Boyfriend clothes make a fun and comfy addition to your summer and your fall wardrobe. Keep your eyes peeled for this relaxed clothing style!
So what is bohemian clothing, exactly? I mean, I thought I knew, but I wanted to be sure before I started writing about it! So I checked: basically it’s anything with a gypsy casual flair. Ruffles and prints and flowing sleeves and skirts.
I discovered a bunch of plus-size women’s bohemian clothes on Silhouettes.com, so I wanted to talk about them. These bohemian clothes are in the “trends” section, because they are very in style right now!

So here are the plus-size boho clothes I’m eyeing up in order to make them my very own. First, this embroidered sleeve tunic. LOVE IT! The bell sleeves are beautifully embroidered and so is the neckline. It goes great over jeans, and it’s so chic.

Second, this beautiful printed tunic. I love the hippie look and the flattering flow of this plus size tunic, especially the way it skims your curves.

And finally, this plus size boho tiered floral dress. The different prints all work together and give it a really fun (and really unique) appearance. I like the cool shirring between sections, too.
So there are some great examples of boho beauty. Embrace your inner gypsy!
